De student heeft de vraag correct geïnterpreteerd. De excess of heads grafiek zegt ons hoeveel meer kop (of let) er gegooid wordt dan let (of kop). De proportion of heads laat ons op zijn beurt het relatieve aantal zien van kop (of let). Deze convergeert rond 0.5 zoals wordt gezegd, dit is logisch gezien de wet van de grote getallen. In deze tijdseries is geen seizoenaliteit, noch een trend op lange termijn aanwezig. Je denkt een trend te kunnen voorspellen, maar dit mag niet omdat het een simulatie is. Een stijging of daling is hier puur te wijten aan het toeval, niet door gebeurtenissen uit het verleden.

Ik heb de vraag goed begrepen en voldoende uitleg gegeven bij de grafiek. Ik had nog wel kunnen zeggen dat het gaat om hoeveel meer kop er gegooid wordt dan let (of andersom). De proportion of heads laat ons het relatieve aantal zien.

Goed opgelost. Ik kan hier nog aan toevoegen dat in de eerste grafiek de curve niet automatisch zal convergeren naar nul want elk experiment is onafhankelijk van het verleden.

De student heeft een goede oplossing en interpretatie gegeven. De proportion of heads geeft het relatieve aantal van kop of let, deze curve convergeert rond O.5. In de tijdseries is er geen seizoenaliteit en ook geen trend op lange termijn. De stijgingen en dalingen zijn toe te schrijven aan het toeval en zijn onafhankelijk van het verleden.
