Deze vraag werd ook zeer goed beantwoord. Er werd duidelijk vermeld dat er sprake is van een positieve autocorrelatie. Dit komt doordat het niveau van de tijdreeks hier langzaam evolueert. Vervolgens werd de autocorrelation function besproken. Op deze grafiek zien we dat alle correlaties buiten het betrouwbaarheidsinterval liggen. Bovendien zijn ze allemaal positief en significant verschillend van nul. Er is een dalend patroon van autocorrelatiecoëfficiënten. Dit patroon kan dus niet toevallig zijn. Dit patroon is zeer typisch voor een stochastische trend op de lange termijn.
