Deze histogram is een goede benadering voor de Y datareeks. We zien de spreiding, het gemiddelde, de waarde en de dichtheid van de gegevens. We zien dat de gegevens redelijk normaal verdeeld zijn.

enkel de top benadert de normaalverdeling niet zo goed. voor de rest sluit het staafdiagram tamelijk goed aan bij de grafiek die de normaalverdeling weergeeft. 
we kunnen besluten dat de benadering tamelijk correct is.

Uit deze plot kunnen we het gemiddelde en de standaarddeviatie wel uit afleiden maar deze plot geeft zeker geen normaalverdeling weer.  We zien wel dat de dichtheid minder is aan de zijkanten dan in het midden maar standdarddeviatie wijst ook niet op een normaal verdeling.

Je zou denken dat deze normaal verdeeld is maar denk toch niet dat het zo is. De top lijkt niet op een normaal verdeling en ook aan de varialen zoals standaardvariatie kan men zien dat het niet echt normaal verdeeld is

Aan de top kunnen we zien dat het histogram geen normale verdeling weergeeft. 
De standaarddeviatie wijst ook niet op een normale verdeling.

De top en standaarddeviatie doen uitwijzen dat dit geen normaalverdeling is. 
Het gemiddelde zou dan ook naar links (5.5) verschuiven.

De gegevens zijn ongeveer normaal verdeeld. De verdeling neigt een beetje naar een rechtsscheve verdeling.
