De student geeft het juiste antwoord. Het gebruik van het logaritme zorgt ervoor dat grote schommelingen worden afgevlakt en kleine schommelingen groter worden, waardoor je de spreiding gaat verkleinen. De outliers zullen maw niet zo ver boven de andere getallen gaan uitsteken.
