Bij de partial correlation worden 3 variabelen gebruikt waartussen de correlatie wordt onderzocht en 1 variabele wordt 'uitgeschakelt'. Ook wordt de normale correlatie weergegeven. Zo kan je duidelijk zien wat de invloed is van 1 variable op het verband tussen de variabelen.
