We vinden hier een correcte berekening terug maar de student verklaart dit niet. Logaritme gaat ervoor zorgen dat de grote getallen veel kleiner worden, de grote schommelingen in de dataset worden afgevlakt. De kleine schommelingen worden dan iets groter. De outliers komen veel dichter naar het gemiddelde in de dataset. Je gaat dus de spreiding verkleinen.
