Zeer grote schommelingen of uitstulpingen kunnen zeer interessant zijn maar ook zeer problematisch. Aangezien de grote schommeling een waarde heeft die driemaal groter is dan de gemiddelde waarde van de eerste 50 observaties en de andere drie tijdreeksen een heel ander verloop kennen, zou ik deze data vermijden.

De eerste 50 maanden van de grafiek, geven een aanvaardbare schommeling weer. Daarna stellen we een plotse, en hevige stijging vast. Als je deze stijging kan verklaren, zou je de grafiek kunnen gebruiken. Anders zou ik op zoek gaan naar een andere tijdsreeks.
