Wat is handiger om te vermelden wat de variabele z is, voor de duidelijkheid. Er is inderdaad een sterke correlatie tussen X en Y, tevens heeft z heeft hier weinig invloed op.

Juiste weergave en conclusie. De partiële correlatie werkt inderdaad het storende effect van de 3de variabele weg waardoor de schijncorrelatie verdwijnt.
