Zoals de student ook vermeld in zijn conclusie geven Dendogrammen visueel de relatie weer tussen verschillende variabelen. Ze geven weer in hoeverre een variabele gerelateerd is tot een andere variabele. Een dendogram is een tijdreeks die opgesplitst is in 2 delen. je bekomt dan een linker en een rechtercluster. De linkercluster heeft de eerste groep maanden en de rechtercluster heeft de rest van de maanden. Een dendogram gebruikten we exploratief (verkennend. De student geeft ook een goede opmerking over de lengte van de benen die evenredig zijn met de gemeenschappelijkheid van de variabelen.

Een dendogram splitst de tijdsreeks op in 2. Elk van deze tak bestaat uit gelijkaardige perioden.
Ergens is hier een fout gemaakt, het dendogram van deze blog en hetgene in de word output komen niet overeen.

Het dendogram in het word-document en op de link stemmen niet overeen! In het dendogram bij de link zijn er grosso modo een 7 tal onderverdelingen te maken helemaal op het einde. Nadien gebeurt er nog een verdere opsplitsing, maar deze wordt dan zeer groot. Er wordt, zoals de student correct zegt, rekening gehouden met gelijkaardige feiten/ gegevens. De opmerking over de lengte van de benen is hier ook goed gemaakt. Er kan nog toegevoegd worden dat door het maken van dendogrammen, er vragen kunnen gedistilleerd worden, die dan weer verder onderzocht kunnen worden.
