Deze datareeks bevat een crash. D.w.z. dat de wetmatigheid anders is in de periode voor de crash dan tijdens of na de crash. Een tip kan zijn om de datareeks te reproduceren tot vlak voor de crash, rekeninghoudend met minimum 60 observaties

De eerste 50 maanden vertoont deze grafiek een normale schommeling. Daarna stort de grafiek in. Als je deze instorting kan verklaren, én als deze terug te vinden is in de overige reeksen, kan je de grafiek behouden.
