- De grafiek vertoont soms grote schommelingen. Vooral in het begin zijn er twee grote outliers die te wijten zijn aan de negatieve waarden. Om dit probleem op te lossen moet je ofwel een verklaring voor deze outliers hebben ofwel de negatieve waarden proberen positief te maken a.d.h.v. toevoeging van een constante ofwel het gemiddelde nemen van de outlier a.d.h.v. de linker waarde en de rechter waarde van de outlier.

- De waarden van deze grafiek zijn ook veranderingspercentages t.o.v. de overeenstemmende periode van het voorgaande jaar. Hier moet je opletten en rekening mee houden. Ofwel kan je beter een andere tijdreeks kiezen, ofwel kies je voor de oorspronkelijke cijfers, ofwel moet je steeds in elke oefening waarin je deze bepaalde tijdreeks gebruikt vermelden dat dit veranderingspercentages zijn.
