De trimmed en winsorized mean zijn ongeveer 0. Dit ligt tussen het betrouwbaarheidsinterval (=stippellijnen boven en onder de grafiek). We zien dat beide grafieken een robuust resultaat geven. Ze zijn niet gevoelig aan outliers. Dat is ook eigen aan de trimmed en winsorized mean.
