De student gebruikt de starplot wat inderdaad correct is. Bij de starplot geeft de lengte van de as de waarde aan(hoe groter de straal, hoe groter de waarde) dit is ook wat de student juist heeft opgemerkt. De starplot wordt gebruikt om aantal variabelen ineens af te beelden en om visuele gelijken te vinden. Hier wordt de starplot gebruikt om tussen de verschillende automerken en hun eigenschappen een gelijkheid aan te duiden( dit heeft ook de student goed opgemerkt) Er zijn 32 automerken=>vandaar dat men de resultaten in de starplot nummert van 1 tot 32. Indien men wil weten of er tussen 2 of meerdere automerken en eigenschappen een gelijkheid is, kijkt men naar de vorm van hun figuur. Deze moeten dezelfde zijn =>dan is er gelijkheid.
