De dendogram gaat de tijdreeksen opdelen in twee clusters. Elke cluster wordt steeds opnieuw opgedeeld tot men aan een periode komt. Ze vergelijkt gelijkaardige gegevens van de variabelen. Goede oplossing

Dus de gegevens worden opgedeeld per periodes die op elkaar gelijken of dezelfde kenmerken vertonen. Iedere verdere vertakking bevat periodes die iets gemeenschappelijk hebben. Deze dendogram is zeer ver vertakt.
